Day 6 - Hamburg

What a perfect day!
Today was the first day I actually managed to sleep in, which can be really difficult in a dorm... After getting up we decided to go for a run along the Alster. A great decision! I can't think of any spot more beautiful to go for a run. You're close to nature but still in the city.

After a shower back at the hostel (Generator, I can really recommend it!) we had lunch at Dean&David. Love their food! Healthy, freshly made and sooo tasty!

We spent the afternoon at the Alster again, enjoying the sun and not doing anything at all :)

Tonight we might go to the cinema to watch The Big Wedding...

Day 4 - The Hague

Today is a lazy day. Tried sleeping in (not so easy in a dorm), then had breakfast in the sun. After renting bikes at the hostel we quietly rode to the city.

Unfortunately, our lunch break was not as fortunate. My craving for some Asian food let us end up at a strange Thai place with not so good food...

Day 3 - from Brussels to The Hague via Rotterdam

Today was a long day. At least that's what my legs think. We first had to walk what felt like forever to reach the train station in Brussels (don't forget the backpacks we were carrying), then when we finally reached Rotterdam, all we did was walk along the shopping area.

After a nice train ride through the Dutch countryside we then reached The Hague. It seems like a beautiful city! All we've seen so far is parts of it from the tram since our hostel is outside the city, about 5 minutes from the sea. What sounded like a nice thing at first appears not to be so perfect after all: we didn't really think about the cold wind ;) it looks good though...

Day 3 - Rotterdam

Today we noticed for the first time that we are not seasoned Interrail travelers...had to spend about 2 hours at the train station because we didn't look up the right train. However, we are in Rotterdam now and have a few hours to explore the city before we continue to The Hague. So pics will follow soon :)

Day 2 - Brussels

Even the the best sweets can't change my mind about Brussels not being my kind of city. However, we definitely can't complain about the weather! It's so beautiful and warm :-)
After lunch we might just enjoy the sun in one of the parks...no hurry at all, taking our time.

This morning we walked past this amazing furniture store. I could have bought half of their products! ;-) kinda glad I have to carry my own backpack haha

Day 1 - Brussels

After another 2 hours in the train and what felt like a 10km walk we made it to the Meininger Hotel in Brussels.

This amazing hostel makes you forget about your tired legs pretty easily. Such a nice ambience and comfort!

But know we definitely need our beauty sleep in order to have enough energy to explore the city tomorrow :)
