Day 9 - Malmo

Another great day with amazing weather! We spent the morning in town with some shopping. For lunch we ended up in this sweet Baguetteria where we had some yummy sandwiches.

And the highlight of the day: the beach. It's so peaceful out there and one could almost forget being in the city.

When walking back into town, be went through Slottsparken, another nice and quiet spot.

And here a pic of myself for once. Love my new red lipstick and the hat :)

Day 8 - From Hamburg to Malmo

We spent most of our day in the train. It was an early morning in Hamburg where we boarded the ICE going to Copenhagen. What we didn't know was that this train ride included a 45-minute crossing of the sea in order to reach Denmark. Funny being on the ferry inside a train :)

In Copenhagen we took the next train going to Malmo since we will be in Copenhagen again later on.
Malmo seems like a nice town and there are some beautiful old buildings...but tomorrow we will have some more time to explore.

Day 7 - Hamburg

Today was all about shopping :) bought some great new stuff, including a new pair of Levi's jeans!
I guess tonight we won't do too much. And tomorrow we'll spend most of the day in the train again, going to Malmo. I'm really excited about Sweden and whether I'll be able to use some of the Swedish I've learnt...

Day 6 - Hamburg

What a perfect day!
Today was the first day I actually managed to sleep in, which can be really difficult in a dorm... After getting up we decided to go for a run along the Alster. A great decision! I can't think of any spot more beautiful to go for a run. You're close to nature but still in the city.

After a shower back at the hostel (Generator, I can really recommend it!) we had lunch at Dean&David. Love their food! Healthy, freshly made and sooo tasty!

We spent the afternoon at the Alster again, enjoying the sun and not doing anything at all :)

Tonight we might go to the cinema to watch The Big Wedding...

Day 4 - The Hague

Today is a lazy day. Tried sleeping in (not so easy in a dorm), then had breakfast in the sun. After renting bikes at the hostel we quietly rode to the city.

Unfortunately, our lunch break was not as fortunate. My craving for some Asian food let us end up at a strange Thai place with not so good food...

Day 3 - from Brussels to The Hague via Rotterdam

Today was a long day. At least that's what my legs think. We first had to walk what felt like forever to reach the train station in Brussels (don't forget the backpacks we were carrying), then when we finally reached Rotterdam, all we did was walk along the shopping area.

After a nice train ride through the Dutch countryside we then reached The Hague. It seems like a beautiful city! All we've seen so far is parts of it from the tram since our hostel is outside the city, about 5 minutes from the sea. What sounded like a nice thing at first appears not to be so perfect after all: we didn't really think about the cold wind ;) it looks good though...
